Why natural wax?
Why natural wax?
All Ootsie candles are made using 100% natural wax, the decision to use natural wax was an easy one - here are a few reasons why:
It is better value for money; thanks to its lower melting point it burns a lot slower than other waxes which means it lasts much longer.
It is toxin free and clean burning meaning it is better for you and better for your home.
It is completely sustainable and biodegradeable making it better for the environment too.
It is an exellent fragrance carrier (again thanks to its lower melting point) so works in harmony with the fragrance oil and does not require chemical fragrance amplifiers; this results in a well-balanced true to scent candle.
Natural wax is also vegan friendly and cruelty free so what's not to love!
PLEASE NOTE: If you are unfamiliar with natural wax candles, it is worth noting that the surface is not always uniform, variations may appear and after burning you may notice a rough, uneven or bumpy top – this is absolutely normal and will not affect the performance of the candle at all - its simply a by product of using natural wax.
